I never knew Madonna had any opinion about this until a few days ago when I watched a video of her on the Letterman show in 1994 (hilarious interview it was...). That was what made me think of posting about it. But I have known about the actual practice since some time in the mid-80's which was when I first heard about it and gave it a try. I told my Dad about it, because he had endless problems with athete's foot, and he tried it out and found that it cured the problem. Good enough for me and good enough for him. I don't give a good goddamn about the opinions of people who haven't actually tried it, and I don't care if they have their wall papered with presitigious medical certificates either.

Ed, that Taoist site has some interesting info on it. I know about some of the Asian practices regarding urine therapy...but I figured that the mainly North American and UK audience here can only take so much outside their normal comfort zone, so I didn't bother talking about that. ;-)
