I, too, am devastated by the sad loss of Pattie's spoon. Years ago, after a visit to the defunct Swansea Folk Club, I bought a hot, steaming curry so The Dame and I could share it. There was no cutlery, so quick as a flash she produced her two instruments and gave one to me so I could not go hungry. Was this spoon the one that snapped? One can never know... but I still like to think that was the spoon that saved my life.
