"These words wityh slight variation are printed in 'Historical Notices of the Parishes of Llanmadoc and Cheriton in the rural deanery of West Gower, Glamorganshire', by J.D.Davies M.A., rector of Cheriton and Llanmadoc, Part 2 (Swansea, 1879). The song is still sung in the Gower Peninsula during the Christmas Season." M.K.
