A church in Auckland had a hoarding, Mary and Joseph in bed. Mary had a wistful look on her face, and Joseph looked disgruntled.
The caption was: 'God is a hard act to follow!'

It occasioned great disgust among the religious-minded, and was promptly defaced.

The radio was full of it, but no-one, no-one, seems to have pointed out that she supposedly gave VIRGIN birth, everyone instead jumping to the conclusion that God had engaged in sexual congress.

A hard sell is only a hard sell, no matter who does it.
