Re: Matty Groves. I first heard this by Joan about fifty years ago, and while I listened to it for the amazing quality of her voice, I had no desire to play it. Twenty years later I heard Fairport do it, and I play it that way still. sometimes I'll do the first verse to Joan's version and then speed up and use Fairport's killer riff to introduce the rest of the song.
