Don't believe all the hype about Windows 7. I've got it running on 3 machines. It is just Vista with some stuff removed. It doesn't have photo/video editing or windows mail (these can be downloaded) you can turn Internet explorer and UAC off. It has the "wonderful" media centre which is supposed to allow you to record TV - However if you live in the UK you you can't record TV streamed from yhe internet (BBC iplayer etc)! You have to plug an external tuner in! It is a matter of "Get less for your money" or simply Vista Service pach 2 at a price!
