The house is so quiet, I suppose it is the emptiness of imagining my son away at school next year. If we got the forms in right. So many possibilities. Anyway, I thought about escaping for a while and going to a movie, but it is really cold out there tonight. I should putter around the house and go to the movies tomorrow afternoon instead. There are several interesting ones playing (though some of them won't make it to our lowest-common-denominator local theaters).
I need to clear up some of the holiday clutter and do some more vacuuming and mopping. And I would enjoy a long hot soak in the tub.
