We MOABites seek enlightenment by spouting BS, having intuited that the juncture of consciousness and absurd wit is one place at which it may be found. It's a bit like Arthur Dent in A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy learning to fly by falling and forgetting to hit the ground. Too much seriousness in the MOAB makes it difficult to fall and down right impossible to forget to hit the ground.
