I hate, loathe, detest and abhor the habit of shortening words to single letters or numbers - and I don't like it very much.

I like the way my phone Bowdlerises my MSM conversations... no matter how many times I save it to the memory, it refuses to accept certain words. Even 'knickers' has to be entered afresh each time.
