Yes it is all change this year we have agreed to take the A605 out of the scenario as far as possible and more streets will be closed to traffic. We will still visit places on the north side of the town but the procession won't. We are trying to overcome major safety issues. I will get Douglas to post a copy of the new map on the web site, (link further up this thread) but if all else fails get hold of this year's book when you arrive in town. The event has been altered and tweaked over the past 30 years but the changes this year will be the most dramatic. All we ask, is to bear (yuk) with us and give us a chance to trial the new routes. The Crown, the Ivy leaf Club, the Ram and the Delph Chippy (with the orange batter) will all welcome visitors on the day in addition to all the other hostelries and cafes in town.
