Nora, I felt a twinge of pain when you spoke of making a living from performing folk music. I suppose it can be done. I have heard about it. Mostly rumors, I guess. But getting back to the subject, I think there will always be those who will constantly search for "the real thing" and those who will choose to tailor their music to suit their purpose and their personal sentiments. I don't mind a bit being listening to either. They are all welcome on my porch anytime.
