Thread Name: Lyr/Chords ADD: Everything Possible (Fred Small)
Subject: Lyr/Chords Add: EVERYTHING POSSIBLE (Fred Small)
Here are 2 alternative keys to sing EVERYTHING POSSIBLE, which I got from the playing of Roy Bailey. These chords are not precisely as RB plays them - I have made a couple of alterations to suit my style and - I hope - make it sound just a little different and suit the mood. See what you think.

EVERYTHING POSSIBLE

Drop D, capo 4

1. We've A cleared off the table, G leftovers D saved
Washed the A dishes and G put them a-D-way
I've A told you a story, Bm tucked you in tight
At the G end of your Em knock-a-Em/B-bout A day
When the D moon sets a sail to G carry you to D sleep
G Over the G/Bmid-G/D-night A sea
I will D sing you a G song no one D sang to G me
May it Bm keep you good A compa-D-ny

* Oh you can D be any-A-body you G want to A be
You can G love whom-A-ever you D will
You can D travel any A country that G your heart A leads
And Em know that I will A love you D still
You can D live by your-Bm-self, you can Em gather Em/Bfriends a-A-round
You can G choose one G/B G/Dspecial A one
But the D only A measure of your G words and your A deeds
Will be the Em love you leave be-A-hind when you're D done

2. There are girls who grow up strong and bold
There are boys quiet and kind
Some race on ahead, some follow behind
Some go in their own way and time
Some women love women, some men love men
Some raise children, some never do
You can dream all the days, never reaching the end
Of everything possible for you

Don't be D rattled by names, by Bm taunts, by games
But G seek out G/B spirits A true
If you D give your G friends the best Bm part of yourself
They will Em give the G same G/B back to A you Em7/B A

* . . . Yes the D only A measure of your G words and your A deeds
Will be the Em love you leave be-A-hind when you're D done
