I am not trying to be inflammatory.I am merely asking a question that,to me at least,seems to be perfectly relevant to the current situation. I live in Britain,a country whose soldiers are being killed on a daily basis,in Afghanistan,for reasons that many of us do not,and cannot,understand,fighting a war that we do not,and cannot,understand,against a people whose religion we do not,and cannot,understand.
    I merely wished to make the observation that,in my personal experience of 62 years of life,there do not seem to have been many,if any,natural disasters involving loss of life among "infidels" where representatives of the governments and armed forces of the countries,and others,that I mentioned,have broken off or deferred their Jihads or Fatwahs,or whatever ,in order to selflessly rush to the aid,on a NATIONAL ( not personal----I don't deny that) basis,in order to save,succour,or minister to,large numbers of Jews or Christians in their time of need . That's all.
    I shall be DELIGHTED to be proved wrong !! Is that not what fora such as these are for ?? Get real !
