The Bay Horse in Bentley near Doncaster was my favorite club in the early sixties, run by George Pearson and his then wife Sheena (now Miller). Lots of great acts and some superb floor singers. John Leonard did all the introductions and held the night together, with help from people like Roy Machin and many others giving some great floor spots. Hedgehog Pie and Christie Moore were practically regulars, as were Tony Capstick and Dave Burland.
Great days with lots of fairly blurred memories.....
