Well, Debbie et al, its not a stupid question, (or if it is, more stupid questions would be a good thing) I'm just asking. Since he was described as "an outspoken voice for social change" above, and I didn't get that message from reading his book about his life (as of 1990 or so), I'm wondering what he's been up to.

Certainly didn't say or imply that he shouldn't be narrating this movie. So he's "lent his name, time and money to many social causes and benefits"--never said he didn't, so what were they, and has he gotten actively involved in organizing for said causes--which are what?

I have nothing against the guy, honest! On the contrary, I'm glad he's still got some of that ol' sixties idealism.
