Always thought this song was written for Johnny Winter because of the lyric 'you try to sing like Muddy Waters and play like Lightnin Sam'.

Mayall makes no sense because his singing style is nothing like Muddy and he rarely plays the guitar.

Had this album 30 some years ago, loved every track. Listen for the song Sail Away featuring Arlo Guthrie on vocals.. fantastic stuff.
