The word is always in plural and used in literature, you seldom hear it in real life unless you'd want to tease someone "Oh, tu as mis tous tes atours aujourd'hui! Tu as rendez-vous avec quelqu'un?" (Oh, you put all your finery/jewels on today! Do you have a date?"
