How odd. Maybe I'm being impatient but I'm surprised that no-one's said anything like "Yes ukes are fun" or "Yikes! Far too populist." Especially as ukuleles seem to be making inroads to folk events. Lots of big name acts incorporate them and quite a few festivals have ukulele workshops. Broadstairs Folk Week had The March of the 100 Ukuleles.
Plus the public service aspect of bringing a fun and dynamic participative live music outlet to your attention at least deserves a "Thank you", I'd thought ;-)
