"Golf Terms"

A Fairway on the Golf Course is a narrow strip
of mown grass that separates two groups of
golfers who are out looking for lost balls in the
rough.

A sand trap on the golf course is a deep
depression filled with golfers who are in a
deep depression.

Golfing is the art of using a bowed club and a
flawed swing, a poor stance and tight shoes,
a weak grip and a lose shank tape on the handle
of the club, to hit a small ball badly toward the
wrong hole, out of turn.
