Primarily Cod in around here but quite a few give a choice including Haddock and Hake. It is not just fish and chips though - There are pies, which in the North West are primarily Hollands. In amongst that you will find Meat, Meat and Potato, Cheese and Onion, Stake and Kidney (Snake and Pigmy) and steak puddings (babbies yeds). You will also find suasages and, the nearer you get to Bury, black puddings as well as 'specials' (battered potato fritters), mushy peas, gravy and curry.
