There was a guitarist called Micky King who played in Cliff Bennett & the Rebel Rousers until they left for Hamburg, and then played for James Royal & the Hawks who had a long residency at the Big Beat Club in Harrow around 1964 - same guitar bass & drums line up and supported all the guest bands. Micky had mastered the Mick Green style and performed many JK & the Pirates songs. The bass player held his bass almost level with his chin!
