Beautiful stuff!

I just posted on the other thread re my bowl blank buddy.

Another thing he used to do was drive thru the countryside looking for specific trees. He would talk to a farmer (landowner) and ask if he could fell a particular tree, bury it for three years and come back for it.... for a price. Nobody ever asked him to pay.

The bowls and such... musical instruments... he made from the "starting to rot" trees were simply amazing. The slight rot gave a contrast to the grain that was fascinating in some pieces.

It is truly an art that gives a warm feeling... an "earthly" feeling. Nice works, Bill.
