Not Pacific Yew, Donuel... (well, not for me, anyway...) That is lumber wood, and I can't say much about it as tone-wood. I have not heard of it used for instruments. (But is IS the tree from which Taxol, the anti-cancer drug, is extracted)

Mine is just the shrub with the red berries.. (Japanese Yew)
