Bill, we just founded the Grand Valley Woodturners Guild last month. You share a lot in common with one of our guys who only works with found wood from folks he knows. They pull out a hedge, he grabs the wood. They prune or fell trees and drop it off at his place. A couple of times a year he and 4 other artisans of various disciplines have a show.

I am no where near your level of competence but I hope to get there.

I need to ask you about that root you are turning. How the hell do you rough it out with all the projections sticking out?
