Stilly - did you really see an altruistic finch? They used to be very common around hee, but they've been supplanted by the lesser egocentrio finch.

We have small populations of philanthroic finches and also munificent finches, which seem, on the whole, to resist the invasion of the egocentric finches. HOwever, I've been told there is a rise in the poulation of the malevolent finch whihc may overun all other species.
