Winter or summer I always wear a hat & have for over 30 years. Gotta keep the sun off in summer & my head warm in winter.

Several years ago I was waiting for a bus one evening out in suburbia when a woman asked me if I was a member! I was flattered.

Normally I wear a cream straw boater, but was wearing my very old red boater! It's faded a bit under the hot Australian sun, as I can see when I lift the ribbon a bit, but it's still a good strong red.
