There was a Red Hat Club here where I live but the women decided they didn't want to have to pay national dues and all that stuff so now they just have a Hat Club. Most of the women are 50+ but daughters are welcome too so I go with my mom! We do fairly local trips, go out for meals...that kind of thing. One day last summer we went to a place called Rainbow Cove....a motel and setting right out of the 1950s with an attached restaurant. It also sits right on one of the finger lakes with a nice big dock where we all sat and enjoyed the sunset.

And we all wear hats. Big ones, small ones, silly ones or sometimes the ladies just put flowers in their hair. Always a good time!
