I think we're finally about done with this. Weather Service radar shows the storm finally moving off. 25" is enough for me, thank you very much.

I guess I'll just take the shoveling slo-o-o-owly. And maybe I can get one of the macho neighbor guys to help. I don't expect the plow for several days, so I couldn't get out of my street anyhow -- even a 4-wheel-drive Subaru can't go if the snow is higher than the bumper. Fortunately I can walk to my doctor appointment on Monday afternoon. I just hope I can get out by Thursday, when I'm supposed to start out for Maine. How ironic is that?
