Like Katlaughing and Open Mike, I'm on warfarin (Coumadin). When I first went in for my periodic clotting-time "stick", the nurse told me that if I got a cut I should put a fresh teabag on it. Seems the tannin in the tea promotes clotting. I haven't had occasion to test the advice.
