Not exactly a mondegreen, as it's not in a song, but a student I'm teaching 1 to 1 was listing what you would need ready for a new born baby (for a childcare lesson). She said - "oh, there are those squares of soft stuff, aren't there ... funny name ... they're called after a religion ... that's it ...Muslim squares. Why are they called after a religion?"
