Re Bryn Pugh above - the 'Frank' whose surname you were looking for may well be Frank Brown whom I knew in London in the sixties as a fellow busker. He was from Manchester - or the environs - played a Gibson twelve string and I know that he knew Anne Briggs well. Haven't seen him in many years so don't know if he's still about...
