Exactly what Jacqui said, maeve. Please, post what you need to, happy, sad, and in-between. I was admonished a while back...we need not compare our own troubles with those of others and think that our need is less worthy. It is all relative and there are a lot of us to work on helping.

The great big old Victorian house I grew up in and lived in with my first two children burnt down soon after my parents sold it. Having been gone more than twenty years when we came back here, I couldn't stand to drive by the old place..it would send me into a long crying spell...I am still mourning that wonderful old HOME. It stood on a small hill and was visible for a long way; pilots used it as a landmark when coming into the airport. You are right, there is no cure for that kind of loss.
