In a sense you are quite correct, Amos. We create "time" (as we experience it) through our own body-centered consciousness. When unconscious, there is no experience of time. When bodiless, yet conscious, there may be the experience of timelessness...though that remains hpyothetical. As long as we insist on identifying with the body, however, then the body is affected by the passage of time which is to say, it ages.
