Bob P mentioned "I Remember Loving You." Most people think that's a Utah Phillips original. But Utah's version is really a rewrite of a song written by two old miners from British Columbia. Utah's chorus goes:

I remember loving you Back when the world was new And I think you loved me too I remember loving you.

Utah told me the original chorus is:

I remember loving you Out of all the girls I knew And I've had quite a few I remember loving you.

Not nearly as romantic.
