The series ran (in order) Affair, Tapes, Connection. Each good in its own way.

They were a development of a previous one-off called Get Lost! which had Alun Armstrong and Bridget Turner as the teacher leads. Good fun as well.

I was lucky enough to receive that boxed set that Micca mentions (though not from him) and keep re-viewing all four. Nice to see so many places I know but no linger visit, and still new things to discover in the performances.

Plater had a son in the Scout group I helped run in younger days, though I only met him a few times. He seemed a reserved sort of guy but a good chap with whom to share a pint. Hammered me at darts the only time I played him.
