I guess 3 & 0 didn't go, even though that would be some proud shooting too. I'd say "S.O.S" (shirt on a shingle or chicken on a raft) would fit the feelings of most of the modern day naval under deck crew. The above writer of Heavy Cruiser was a coreman durning the Nam conflict & is still a bit "gung ho", opposite from my brother who was a seal on a sub (USS Albacore), back then. Barry
