Even the bears have dreams of things they've seen
Or hungered to see.
In browns like trees, and summer greens,
Places to be.
Not plagued by fear of predators or guns,
Full of fine foods, lady bears coy,
Delights, like summer morning runs
And other bear joys.
In the deepest of bear dreams is
The darkest green
Where being a bear is itself
Considered possible.
