As I remember from 1946-48.

Beautiful stream... so clear and blue.
A radiant dream... we bring to you.
The stars seem to float... above the sky.
With you as you go... reflect the light.
And gay is the song, and gay the song
You carry along, you bear along
By shores that you lave, with your wave
On your way... to join... the sea.

There may be and probably are more and different versions.

I have been somewhat confused about lines three and four but maybe we both have learned a little.
