A friend lent me a copy of John Connolly and Bill Meek singing Humber-based folk songs.

Amongst these great tracks was Harry Tate's Navy, very poignant, and it knocked me sideways. I just didn't know about these guys.

Has anyone got the lyrics? I've looked in the 'normal' places, but drawn a blank so far.

It sounds like the best of Eric Bogle, magnificently sincere music.
