That's great Annroi. I'm glad to hear it. Eamonn is quite the character. I used to visit him when I went home on holiday but he moved his shop a number of years ago and I kind of lost touch. The drum he made for me (I bought it initially for the look of it) sounds beautiful. It still has the goat's hair around one side of it and I thought it would not be taken too seriously as an instrument. But as I said it sounds great its got a big deep sound to it and a copy of Jim Fitzpatricks painting of Cuchullainn, drawn by Eamonn on the front. I also bought sonme bones and a beautiful blackthorn stick that he'd finished. He had some great sessions in his shop years ago when some of the local lads came down to sign on the dole. There'd be a couple of pipers, a few flute and fiddle players and of course Eamonn himself who is a great drummer in his own right. If you see him Annroi tell him I said hello from Canada. Den
