I think it might well be more than that, but what would be your guess at the percentage if 5% is incorrect? And what percentage of those known priest/abusers have been actually locked up before they could offend further? Removing them from ministry doesn't necessarily stop them from being abusers. Also, we can only count the ones who have been discovered, there are bound to be more.
