Despite my tone of levity it has been a long, stressful week here in Camp Diego. Mixed rain and sunshine, a major patent successfully filed at last in London (for the CE) but all kinds of gore and blood on the trail behind it; an earthquake rolled through and did no harm; a child went through surgery and is now healing handsomely and driving around. So it has been a very spotty sort of week indeed.

At times like this is it good to pause and remember that Mom loves us all in her own deeply unknowable way.
