Dad used to sing....

While she was talking to a policeman
up agin the airey rails
she quite forgot the little baby in her arms
telling him some fairy tales.
She dropped the baby down the airey
Oh poor Mary Jane
and she didn't get it back
until she gave the word
that she wouldn't drop the baby down again.
