This is from the Heathrow Airport website: Airspace restrictions update Last updated: 20:50 BST, Tuesday 20 April 20:10 The Civil Aviation Authority has approved the opening of UK airspace from 22:00 today. We are ready to open, but until further notice passengers must contact their airlines before travelling to the airport. Not all flights will operate during the early period of opening, and we will be doing everything we can to support airlines and get people moving.
