I must have recycled a cubic foot of paper today from my desk. But now it is clean! The laundry is also all folded and I took an entire trunkful of clothes to the thrift store (and asked for a receipt, thank you, Stilly).

How do you folks learn to keep the kitchen clean? There must be a fundamental psyche shift I haven't figured out yet.

Tomorrow is the town's Environmental Fair and I will take the book wagon and give a free book to every child who attends. This is one of my favorite parts of my job---matching children with books. A boy scout organized a book drive and donated 500+ books for me to give away. Wonderful. And how does this fit in with the environmental theme? Well, think of how many resources are saved when people check books out of the library instead of buying them. Also, the books we give away find good homes and are a way to cycle them back into use.

One more huge project and then the semester is over and I'll be halfway to my master's degree. I really want to spend the weekend writing in the sun, but instead I'll work hard on the project and go to the fair. The time to play (write) will come soon enough.
