Vonda Shepard recorded YOU BELONG TO ME, but she didn't write it, and she was far from the first or most famous to record it.

YOU BELONG TO ME was written by Pee Wee King, Chilton Price, and Redd Stewart.

I'm not sure who recorded it first, but Jo Stafford is most often mentioned. She recorded it in 1952.

It was also recorded by Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Gene Vincent, Jerry Lee Lewis, Jim Reeves, Joni James, Judy Garland, Patsy Cline, Patti Page, Petula Clark, The Duprees, The Orioles, and many, many others.
