Thanks for your reply - it would be lovely to meet you, and anyone else that knew him. As I mentioned above, I was too young to appreciate his love of music at that time, and to hear anything about his past means so much to us. This is the only place I have posted - my mum tells me that he knew Tony & Arthur well, as well as the Houghton Weavers, Cheshire Folk, etc, but I have not had the opportunity (nor would know how) to contact them.

Hope to see you on Thursday if you are able to make it - please introduce yourself to me (I'm his oldest son with the blond spikey hair!) and you can tell us more of what you remember.
