An earlier post reminded me of my experience. I was born in Western Oregon, and now live in NE Kansas. When I go back home my cousins tease the heck out of me for my southern accent. (Some folks do tend to drawl a bit hereabouts.) Then, I've had some locals here in the Sunflower State ask what part of the North I come from. Sheesh. Soddy
