Bruce, I doubt that even Josef Goebbels could have come up with a more ludicrous line of self-justifying doubletalk and sheer, utter nonsense than that to justify his country's right to "defend itself against aggression" in 1939-40. It's tantamount to the wolf complaining that the sheep are going after him.
