I'd agree with DocJohn, it may be wiser not to mention the whole thing when applying for a job. It could, unfairly but understandably, raise questions in their minds. Also, I think it is better to put things behind you rather than persuing the matter - how important do you want it to be in your life? Personally, I prefer to let unpleasant incidents fade away - dwelling on it might make you unhappy. That's just my opinion though, and I would point out that we are all working on very little information here and so can't really guarantee a balanced or accurate view.
